Page contents Page contents ZielsetzungDas EU-Justizbarometer ist Teil des Instrumentariums der EU zur Rechtsstaatlichkeit und leistet einen wichtigen Beitrag zum Europäischen Semester. Es bietet einen jährlichen Überblick über Effizienz, Qualität und Unabhängigkeit der Justizsysteme. Es hilft den Mitgliedstaaten, die Effizienz der nationalen Justizsysteme zu verbessern, indem objektive, zuverlässige und vergleichbare Daten bereitgestellt werden.Leistungsfähige Justizsysteme sind maßgeblich bei der Umsetzung des EU-Rechts sowie bei der Wahrung der Rechtsstaatlichkeit und der Werte, die der EU zugrunde liegen. Sie gewährleisten, dass Privatpersonen und Unternehmen ihre Rechte in vollem Umfang wahrnehmen können, stärken das Vertrauen und tragen zu einem investitions-, unternehmens- und bürgerfreundlichen Umfeld bei.Das EU-Justizbarometer ist eine der Informationsquellen für den jährlichen Bericht über die Rechtsstaatlichkeit. Seine Ergebnisse fließen auch in die länderspezifischen Empfehlungen im Rahmen des Europäischen Semesters ein, des jährlichen Zyklus der wirtschaftspolitischen Koordinierung – unter der Aufbau- und Resilienzfazilität und im Zusammenhang mit der Anwendung der Konditionalitätsverordnung.
