Page contents Page contents CílSrovnávací přehled EU o soudnictví, který tvoří součást souboru nástrojů EU na podporu právního státu a představuje rovněž klíčový příspěvek k evropskému semestru, každoročně přináší přehled ukazatelů účinnosti, kvality a nezávislosti systémů soudnictví. Jeho účelem je pomoci členským státům zefektivnit jejich vnitrostátní systémy soudnictví poskytováním objektivních, spolehlivých a srovnatelných údajů.Účinnost systémů soudnictví je zásadní pro provádění práva EU a pro prosazování právního státu a hodnot, na nichž je Unie založena. Zajišťují, aby občané a podniky mohli plně využívat svých práv, posilují vzájemnou důvěru a pomáhají vytvářet prostředí příznivé pro občany a pro investice a podnikání.Srovnávací přehled EU o soudnictví je jedním ze zdrojů, z nichž čerpá informace výroční zpráva o právním státu. Na základě jeho zjištění se rovněž posuzují jednotlivé země v rámci evropského semestru – ročního cyklu EU pro koordinaci hospodářských politik – v rámci Nástroje pro oživení a odolnost a v souvislosti s uplatňováním nařízení o podmíněnosti právního státu.
