Page contents Page contents MålsætningEU's resultattavle for retlige anliggender er en del af EU's såkaldte retsstatsværktøjskasse og et vigtigt bidrag til "det europæiske semester" – EU's halvårlige økonomiske samordningsproces. Den indeholder en årlig oversigt over indikatorer for retssystemernes effektivitet, kvalitet og uafhængighed. Formålet er at hjælpe EU-landene med at effektivisere deres retssystemer ved at tilvejebringe objektive, pålidelige og sammenlignelige data.Effektive retssystemer er afgørende for gennemførelsen af EU-lovgivningen og overholdelsen af retsstatsprincippet og de værdier, som EU bygger på. De sikrer, at borgerne og virksomhederne kan nyde godt af alle deres rettigheder, de styrker den gensidige tillid, og de medvirker til et erhvervs- og investeringsvenligt miljø i det indre marked.EU's resultattavle for retsområdet er en af informationskilderne til den årlige rapport om retsstatssituationen. Dataene i resultattavlen danner også grundlag for de landespecifikke vurderinger inden for rammerne af det europæiske semester, i forbindelse med genopretnings- og resiliensfaciliteten og ved anvendelsen af forordningen om konditionalitet vedrørende retsstatsprincippet.
