Page contents Page contents ObiectivCa parte a setului de instrumente al UE privind statul de drept și ca o contribuție esențială la semestrul european, tabloul de bord privind justiția în UE prezintă o imagine de ansamblu anuală a indicatorilor privind eficiența, calitatea și independența sistemelor de justiție. Scopul său este de a ajuta statele membre să îmbunătățească eficacitatea sistemelor lor naționale de justiție prin furnizarea de date obiective, fiabile și comparabile.Existența unor sisteme de justiție eficace joacă un rol esențial în punerea în aplicare a legislației UE și în susținerea statului de drept și a valorilor fundamentale care stau la baza Uniunii Europene. Se garantează astfel faptul că cetățenii și întreprinderile pot beneficia pe deplin de drepturile lor, se consolidează încrederea reciprocă și se contribuie la crearea unui mediu favorabil cetățenilor, afacerilor și investițiilor.Tabloul de bord privind justiția în UE este una dintre sursele de informații pentru Raportul anual privind statul de drept. Constatările sale stau, de asemenea, la baza evaluărilor specifice fiecărei țări din cadrul semestrului european (ciclul anual al UE de coordonare a politicilor economice), în cadrul Mecanismului de redresare și reziliență și în contextul aplicării Regulamentului privind mecanismul de condiționalitate bazat pe statul de drept.
