Page contents Page contents CieľPorovnávací prehľad EÚ v oblasti justície ako súčasť súboru nástrojov EÚ na podporu právneho štátu a kľúčový príspevok k európskemu semestru predstavuje ročný prehľad ukazovateľov efektívnosti, kvality a nezávislosti justičných systémov. Jeho účelom je pomôcť členským štátom zvýšiť účinnosť ich vnútroštátnych justičných systémov poskytovaním objektívnych, spoľahlivých a porovnateľných údajov.Účinné justičné systémy predstavujú nevyhnutný predpoklad vykonávania práva EÚ a dodržiavania zásady právneho štátu, ako aj hodnôt, na ktorých je založená EÚ. Zabezpečujú, aby mohli jednotlivci a podniky plne využívať svoje práva, upevňujú vzájomnú dôveru a pomáhajú pri budovaní priaznivého prostredia pre občanov, podnikanie a investície.Porovnávací prehľad EÚ v oblasti justície je jedným zo zdrojov informácií pre výročnú správu o právnom štáte. Jeho zistenia sú takisto podkladom pre posúdenia jednotlivých krajín v rámci európskeho semestra – ročného cyklu koordinácie hospodárskych politík EÚ – v rámci Mechanizmu na podporu obnovy a odolnosti a v kontexte uplatňovania nariadenia o podmienenosti právnym štátom.
