Page contents Page contents TavoiteEU:n oikeusalan tulostaulu on osa EU:n oikeusvaltiovälineistöä ja keskeisessä asemassa EU-ohjausjaksolla. Tulostaulussa esitetään vuotuinen katsaus oikeusjärjestelmien tehokkuutta, laatua ja riippumattomuutta koskeviin indikaattoreihin. Sen tarkoituksena on auttaa EU-maita parantamaan kansallisten oikeusjärjestelmiensä tehokkuutta tarjoamalla objektiivisia, luotettavia ja vertailukelpoisia tietoja.Toimivat oikeuslaitokset ovat olennaisen tärkeitä EU:n lainsäädännön täytäntöönpanossa sekä oikeusvaltioperiaatteen ja EU:n perustana olevien arvojen ylläpitämisessä. Oikeusjärjestelmien avulla varmistetaan, että kansalaiset ja yritykset voivat käyttää oikeuksiaan täysimääräisesti. Tehokas oikeuslaitos vahvistaa keskinäistä luottamusta ja auttaa rakentamaan yritystoiminnalle ja investoinneille suotuisaa ympäristöä.EU:n oikeusalan tulostaulu on yksi vuotuisen oikeusvaltiokertomuksen lähteistä. Sen havaintoja hyödynnetään myös maakohtaisissa arvioinneissa, joita tehdään EU-ohjausjakson eli EU:n vuotuisen talouspolitiikan koordinoinnin syklin puitteissa, elpymis- ja palautumistukivälineen puitteissa ja oikeusvaltioperiaatetta koskevasta ehdollisuudesta annetun asetuksen soveltamisen yhteydessä.
