Page contents Page contents EesmärkELi õigusriigi meetmete paketi osana ja olulise panusena Euroopa poolaastasse esitatakse ELi õigusemõistmise tulemustabelis iga-aastane ülevaade kohtusüsteemide tõhususe, kvaliteedi ja sõltumatuse näitajatest. Selle eesmärk on aidata liikmesriikidel parandada oma kohtusüsteemide tõhusust, esitades objektiivseid, usaldusväärseid ja võrreldavaid andmeid.Tulemuslikud kohtusüsteemid on olulised liidu õiguse rakendamiseks ning õigusriigi põhimõtte ja ELi aluseks olevate põhiväärtuste kaitsmisel. Need tagavad, et üksikisikud ja ettevõtjad saavad täiel määral oma õigusi kasutada, suurendavad vastastikust usaldust ning aitavad luua kodaniku-, ettevõtlus- ja investeerimissõbraliku keskkonna.ELi õigusemõistmise tulemustabel on üks iga-aastase õigusriigi olukorda käsitleva aruande teabeallikatest. Selle järeldused on aluseks ka riigipõhistele hindamistele Euroopa poolaasta (ELi iga-aastane majanduspoliitika koordineerimise tsükkel) ning taaste- ja vastupidavusrahastu raames, samuti õigusriigi tingimuslikkuse määruse kohaldamise kontekstis.
