Tiedot Julkaisupäivä7. joulukuuta 2016 (Päivitetty viimeksi: 20. kesäkuuta 2023) Kuvaus Komissio laatii vuosittain hallinto- ja tuloksellisuuskertomuksen, jossa esitetään katsaus EU:n talousarviovarojen avulla saavutettuihin tuloksiin ja selvitetään, miten talousarviovaroja on hallinnoitu ja suojattu. Kertomus on komission pääasiallinen panos talousarvion toteuttamista koskevaan vuotuiseen vastuuvapausmenettelyyn. Siinä esitellään toimet, joihin komissio on ryhtynyt sen varmistamiseksi, että EU:n talousarviota hallinnoidaan moitteettoman varainhoidon tiukimpien vaatimusten mukaisesti. Tällä kertomuksella komissio ottaa poliittisen kokonaisvastuun EU:n talousarvion hallinnoinnista. Se on viimeinen vaihe komission vuotuisessa suunnittelu-, ohjelmointi- ja raportointisyklissä. EU:n talousarviota koskeva vuotuinen hallinto- ja tuloksellisuuskertomus on osa komission integroitua talous- ja tilinpäätösraportointipakettia, johon kuuluu myös muita kertomuksia, kuten konsolidoitu tilinpäätös. Integroitu talous- ja tilinpäätösraportointipaketti on komission pääasiallinen panos vuotuiseen vastuuvapausmenettelyyn, jossa Euroopan parlamentti ja neuvosto hyväksyvät tietyn vuoden talousarvion täytäntöönpanon lopullisesti.
