Bijzonderheden Datum publicatie7 december 2016 (Laatste update: 20 juni 2023) Beschrijving Elk jaar stelt de Commissie een beheers- en prestatieverslag op, waarin ze een overzicht geeft van de resultaten die met de EU-begroting zijn geboekt en de manier waarop deze beheerd en beschermd werd. Dit verslag is de belangrijkste bijdrage van de Commissie aan de jaarlijkse kwijtingsprocedure voor de begroting. In dit verslag worden ook de stappen beschreven die de Commissie neemt om ervoor te zorgen dat de EU-begroting wordt beheerd volgens de hoogste normen van goed financieel beheer. Met dit verslag neemt de Commissie de algehele politieke verantwoordelijkheid voor het beheer van de EU-begroting op zich. Dit is de laatste fase van de jaarlijkse plannings-, programmerings- en rapportagecyclus van de Commissie. Het jaarlijkse beheers- en prestatieverslag voor de EU-begroting (AMPR) maakt deel uit van het pakket geïntegreerde financiële en verantwoordingsverslagen van de Commissie, samen met onder meer de geconsolideerde rekeningen. Het pakket geïntegreerde financiële en verantwoordingsverslagen is de belangrijkste bijdrage van de Commissie aan de jaarlijkse kwijtingsprocedure waardoor het Europees Parlement en de Raad hun definitieve goedkeuring kunnen geven aan de uitvoering van de EU-begroting over een bepaald jaar.
