Obsahovaly čtyři oddíly: Přehled financí EU v daném roce Příjmy EU Výdaje z rozpočtu EU Přílohy (Výdaje a příjmy podle okruhů, zdroje a členského státu; Operační rozpočtové bilance; Zpětně získané prostředky a finanční opravy a Výpůjční a úvěrové operace). Naposledy byla finanční zpráva vydána pro rok 2018 a pak byla nahrazena dokumentem Integrated Financial and Accountability Reporting, což je stručnější verze původní finanční zprávy (obsahující především nejdůležitější prvky a údaje). Interaktivní přehled výdajů a příjmů na internetových stránkách Europa, který rovněž nabízí tabulky ke stažení, poskytuje podrobné údaje o členských státech za období 2000–2020.
