Page contents Page contents MandatRådet blev nedsat som opfølgning på de fem formænds rapport om fuldførelse af EU's Økonomiske og Monetære Union for at styrke EU's rammer for økonomisk styring.Det Europæiske Finanspolitiske Råds hovedopgaver erArtikel 24 i forordning (EU) 2024/1263at give en rettidig opfølgende evaluering af gennemførelsen af EU's ramme for finanspolitisk styringat rådgive om den finanspolitiske kurs for euroområdet som helhed samt om, hvilken finanspolitisk kurs der er hensigtsmæssig på nationalt plan og i overensstemmelse med den, inden for rammerne af reglerne i stabilitets- og vækstpagtenefter anmodning fra Kommissionen eller Rådet at rådgive om gennemførelsen af stabilitets- og vækstpagten, herunder om forlængelse af den generelle undtagelsesklausul i overensstemmelse med artikel 25 i forordning (EU) 2024/1263at arbejde tæt sammen med uafhængige finanspolitiske institutioner som omhandlet i artikel 8a i direktiv 2011/85/EUat fremsætte forslag til den fremtidige udvikling af den finanspolitiske ramme.SammensætningDen 16. april 2025 udnævnte Kommissionen nye medlemmer af Det Europæiske Finanspolitiske Råd. Numerisk overholdelse adskiller sig fra overholdelse af lovgivningen, da sidstnævnte indebærer retlige fortolkninger af skønsmarginerForecast trackerSiden 2025 har sekretariatet for Det Europæiske Finanspolitiske Råd opdateret en database med officielle prognoser, der er relevante for EU's finanspolitiske overvågning. Værktøjet dokumenterer resultaterne ved at sammenligne fremskrivninger med resultater og giver statistiske målinger af prognosens nøjagtighed. Hele programmet kan ses her.Erfaringerne med den nuværende europæiske finanspolitiske ramme er i bedste fald blandede, som Det Europæiske Finanspolitiske Råd har vist i sin seneste evalueringsrapport om EU's finanspolitiske regler. Der er faktisk udbredt diskussion om, hvordan den bedst kan revideres. På denne konference bliver EU-finanspolitiske regler gennemgået.
