Описание
Целта на стратегическите планове и плановете за управление е да се помогне на ведомствата на Комисията да приведат работата си в съответствие с общите политически цели на Комисията, както и да планират и управляват дейностите/своите дейности, за да се използват ресурсите най-ефективно.
В стратегическите си планове ведомствата на Комисията описват как ще допринесат за 6-те политически приоритета на Комисията. В тях се определят конкретни цели за ведомството за период от пет години, както и показатели, които да им помогнат да проследят напредъка/чрез които да се (про)следи напредъка. Всички ведомства докладват за напредъка всяка година в своите годишни доклади за дейността.
