What the Commission is doing

Objectives

  • Protect the financial interests of the EU by investigating fraud, corruption and any other illegal activities
  • Detect and investigate serious misconduct by EU staff which could result in disciplinary or criminal proceedings
  • Support the EU institutions and national governments in the development and implementation of anti-fraud legislation and policies
