Adopted EU Asylum AgencyEstablishing a fully-fledged European Union Agency for Asylum.Blue Card DirectiveAssisting employers in recruiting from outside the EU by making the process easier and more accessible.Single PermitTo make the process of obtaining a single permit quicker and easier for applicants and employers.QualificationTo harmonise protection standards in the EU and put an end to secondary movements and asylum shopping.Reception ConditionsTo harmonise reception conditions throughout the EU.Resettlement FrameworkTo align how EU Member States resettle recognised refugees from outside EU territory, such as those in refugee camps.Asylum and Migration ManagementTo establish a new solidarity mechanism amongst Member States to balance the current system where a few countries are responsible for the vast majority of asylum applications, and clear rules on responsibility for asylum applications.ScreeningTo introduce a new health, identity and security check at all EU external borders.Asylum ProceduresTo reduce differences in recognition rates, discourage secondary movements and ensure introduce a new border procedure.EurodacTo adapt and reinforce the Eurodac fingerprint database to facilitate returns and help tackle irregular migration.Crisis and Force MajeureTo set out the exceptional measures that can and should be taken to deal with crisis situations to allow Member States to act quickly and decisively.
