About

Digital technology is changing people’s lives. The EU’s digital strategy aims to make this transformation work for people and businesses, while helping to achieve its target of a climate-neutral Europe by 2050.
The Commission is determined to make this Europe's “Digital Decade”. Europe must now strengthen its digital sovereignty and set standards, rather than following those of others – with a clear focus on data, technology, and infrastructure.
Highlight

10 November 2022 - To address the deteriorating security following Russia's aggression against Ukraine and to boost the EU's capacity to protect its citizens and infrastructure, the Commission and the High Representative proposed an EU Cyber Defence policy and an Action Plan on Military Mobility 2.0. With its new cyber defence policy, the EU will enhance cooperation and investments in cyber defence to better detect, deter, and defend against a growing number of cyber-attacks.
