ResponsibilitiesThe European School of Administration offers a range of learning and development opportunities for EU institution staff including:Newcomer's training courses.Development of key skills for EU staff (including resilience courses and workshops).Management and leadership development programmes.Certification: a procedure whereby officials can move from the assistant function group (AST) to the administrator function group (AD). Inter-institutional job shadowing: short-term job exchange where a staff member is paired with another staff member in a different institution of their choice, over a six month period. Moreover, the European School of Administration also coordinates some initiatives with external stakeholders:Erasmus Programme for Public Administration.DISPA: The Network of Directors of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration.Furthermore, the European School of administration deals also with procurement and launches calls for tenders to procure services in the area of training or the organisation of training courses.
