The European School of Administration provides high quality training and learning opportunities for the staff of all EU institutions and agencies.

Responsibilities

The European School of Administration offers a range of learning and development opportunities for EU institution staff including:

  • Newcomer's training courses.
  • Development of key skills for EU staff (including resilience courses and workshops).
  • Management and leadership development programmes.
  • Certification: a procedure whereby officials can move from the assistant function group (AST) to the administrator function group (AD). 
  • Inter-institutional job shadowing: short-term job exchange where a staff member is paired with another staff member in a different institution of their choice, over a six month period.
