This first stakeholder meeting aims to: provide information about the background and the objectives of the second TPR exercise (on fire protection); give an opportunity for stakeholders interested in the topic to meet and exchange ideas on the technical issues. Background The amended Nuclear Safety Directive introduced a European system of topical peer reviews beginning in 2017 and every 6 years thereafter. Topical peer reviews are largely inspired by the stress tests undertaken after the Fukushima accident in 2011.
