Built at the end of the 60’s, the swimming pool of Bréquigny was one of the most energy-intensive buildings of the City of Rennes (200 kEUR were spent every year in electricity bills). This EUR 2.5 million project consisted insulating the roofs, and installing a 2,400 m2 of solar panels on the roofs: the electricity produced is self-consumed and distributed to other sports facilities on the site of Bréquigny.By reducing energy consumption by 25 to 30%, the financial gains will allow the municipality to amortise this investment in 7 to 10 years only. The Recovery and Resilience Facility finances EUR 1.4 million of this investment.Additional linkshttps://www.linkedin.com/posts/mde-rennes-hautebretagne_10-projets-locaux-par-jour-co-financ%C3%A9s-activity-7181926973688946688-YIjA/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop ReferenceC1.I3 in the French Recovery and Resilience Plan Project locations France Project websitehttps://metropole.rennes.fr/isolation...
