The measure promotes the heavy-duty transport sector's capacity to use electricity as a means of propulsion.The development of an electric heavy-duty transport ecosystem will thus accelerate the achievement of emission reductions in heavy-duty transport.The measure is intended to support research, development and innovation projects in the heavy-duty electric transport service chain, as well as the promotion of business networks.The development of a service chain covering all support functions is a prerequisite for the large-scale electrification of heavy goods vehicles.
