Major renovation of buildings for implementation energy efficiency and accessible environment measures in IV Primary School "Hristo Smirnenski", town of Petrich

The purpose of the project, financed with EUR 2,3 million from the Recovery and Resilience Facility,is to renew and modernise the educational infrastructure in the municipality of Petrich, through major repairs and implementation of measures for energy efficiency and an accessible environment in the IV OU "Hristo Smirnenski" in the town of Petrich and renovation of the adjacent yard space.

The object of the project are two of the buildings, namely the school building and the gymnasium. It is planned to carry out construction and assembly works for the complete renovation of the yard space. It is planned to implement measures to ensure an accessible architectural environment for people with disabilities. 

Within the framework of the project, author and construction supervision activities will be carried out during construction, information and communication measures and activities to promote the project and the sources of funding.

Investments in the material base of educational institutions and in the educational infrastructure are essential to make educational institutions a favorable environment in order to improve educational results and motivation to learn.
