Major renovation and implementation of energy efficiency measures for Kindergarten №18 "Chaika" - city of Varna

The investment, financed with EUR 1 million from the Recovery and Reilience Facilty will ensure a contemporary material basis, which guarantees healthy and quality conditions for education and socialization in Kinder Garten №18 "Chaika" - Varna by modernization of the physical infrastructure, including energy efficiency measures and improvement of the accessible environment.

Through the implementation of the project will be ensured healthy physical environment for normal physical and psychological development of the children. 

Conditions for achieving favorable, energy efficient and supportive motivating educational environment, thus contributing for high quality education and motivation of the children in their early age, paly crucial role for the creation of equal possibilities and improvement of cognitive capabilities. 

All this result in decreasing the possibility of not satisfying results and prematurely dropping out.

The building of KG 18 "Chaika" is municipal property and is built in 1972. Currently there are 250 children, in 10 groups, including one nursery group. 

The existing material basis is amortized and is more than 50 years aged. The project includes: major repair, adoption of energy efficiency measures and ensuring accessible environment.

The implementation of the project will contribute to upgrading the Ministry of Education and Science efforts for transforming the education institutions, including those for pre-school in modern, secure and favorable environment, providing conditions for high education results and complex education reform in Bulgara.
