Digital services and citizen experience (Mission 1, Component 1, Investment 1.4)

Italy's Recovery and Resilience Plan provides this investment to develop an integrated and harmonized offering of state-of-theart citizen-oriented digital services, ensure their wide-spread adoption thereof across both central and local administrations and enhance users’ experience. The investment is financed by Italy’s Recovery and Resilience plan by EUR 561 million.                                          

As part of this investment, the proposed intervention aims to simplify access to various modes of transport and digital services, with particular attention to vulnerable segments of the population. Users will be able to view and choose between different transport options on a single platform, with detailed information on travel duration and the ability to make payments in a single transaction.
This integrated system will make the use of multiple transport modes more convenient and enhance interaction with digital services, improving the overall mobility experience in the city while ensuring greater accessibility and travel sustainability. The ultimate goal is to promote more informed transport choices and a better overall experience for citizens.
