Legal shield

The overarching objective of the reform is to reduce the administrative and regulatory burden affecting businesses in Poland, as well as to foster private investment, particularly in SMEs. To that end, the so-called Legal Shield has been established, to simplify administrative and legal procedures, minimize legal requirements for businesses and entrepreneurs, speed up decision-making, provide the right conditions for businesses to invest, especially in less developed regions, and facilitate the communication between citizens and businesses with public authorities.

The reform was implemented in 2022.
