Copyright: Città metropolitana di Torino School building security and structural rehabilitation plan Mission 4 – Component 1 - Investment 3.3)Italy’s Recovery and Resilience Plan contributes to climate recovery also by enhancing school buildings’ safety and energy consumption.In particular, this measure aims to contribute to the improvement of energy classes and leading to lower consumption and CO2 emissions as well as to increase structural safety of buildings.Particular attention is paid to the most disadvantaged areas with the aim of tackling and eliminating economic and social imbalances.The investment is financed by Italy’s Recovery and Resilience plan by EUR 4.4 billion.The project consisting in fire control measures is part of this investment.Russell’s story begins in 1981.The premises of Corso Molise 58 then housed the branches of I.T.C."Burgo", "Valletta" and "Santorre di Santarosa".In the year 2000 Russell joined the Moro giving rise to the Institute of Secondary Education Russell-Moro.The project foresees the following interventions: dismantling of the existing sound diffusion system; total renovation of the sound diffusion system (EVAC) according to current regulations to be interfaced to the existing smoke detection system; implementation of by-pass in the fire pump room; overhaul of the fire pressure group in its main components (pumps, saarcinesche, expansion vessels, pressure gauges etc.); revision of the sprinkler valve and replacement of the alarm bell.Top 100 recipients:CITTÀ METROPOLITANA DI TORINO Copyright: Città metropolitana di Torino ReferenceM4C1Project locations Italy EU contribution€4 400 000 000
