Infrastructure in the Kanižarica business zone TRIS - Providing innovative ecosystems of economic and business infrastructure

The project aims to strengthen existing ecosystems and the development transformation of a degraded area with the aim of strengthening the competitiveness of the local economy and creating new jobs.

As part of the project, the municipality set up the necessary infrastructure for the smooth running of the enterprises and for improving the conditions for expanding their business and for new businesses to enter the zone.

The project consisted of upgrading a road with pavements of 720 metres. Public lighting, sewerage and waterworks were also constructed. A solar power plant was built on a municipal building in the zone. In total, more than 6 hectares of land will be built up.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 0.9 million, while the total value of the investment is EUR 1.4 million. 

The project will be carried out between September 2020 and December 2024.
