Linde Gas GmbH is a leading company in the industrial gases and engineering sector. In Reutte (Tyrol), hydrogen is produced using natural gas and made available to neighboring industry. The aim of the project is to build a 4 MW electrolysis plant at the company Plansee SE in Reutte. 

This plant produces hydrogen directly from green electricity and water, which can be used on site. Once the measure has been implemented, one of Linde Gas GmbH's two fossil fuel production lines can be gradually decommissioned and part of the production of the second fossil fuel line can be replaced by green hydrogen.

Greenhouse gas emissions are expected to be reduced by 4,207 tons annually after completion of the project. The project is currently in the construction phase.
