Extension of metro line 11 from Mairie des Lilas to Rosny Bois Perrier

This extension of metro line 11 from Mairie-des-Lilas to Rosny-Bois-Perrier, which goes through Romainville, Noisy-le-Sec and Montreuil, provides a clean and fast mobility alternative to more than 85 000 inhabitants from Seine-Saint-Denis, one of the most densely populated department of Ile-de-France. 

The line will allow people to reach the city center of Paris in less than 30 minutes (against 55 minutes by car or bus), and increase accessibility to new districts and public services, such as the hospital André Grégoire in Montreuil, which was accessible only by bus or car.

The extension of line 11 will also ensure connections with other clean transport modes, with tramway T1 to the city of Val de Fontenay, with RER E and line 15 of the subway.

The inauguration of the extension, expected by citizens since decades, was done on 13 June 2024.
