Enhancement, modernisation and upgrade of Cyprus State Hospitals (Invasive Radiology Unit, Nicosia General Hospital)

The objective is to enhance and upgrade the Cyprus State Hospitals to enable them to compete on an equal basis with the private sector, whilst improving the quality of healthcare services and the working conditions for health workers in public hospitals.
Τhe extension of the Invasive Radiology Unit (including medical equipment e.g. angiography unit) in Nicosia General Hospital, has been completed and the taking over certificate was issued in January 2025.
The entire measure should be concluded by mid-2026.
