Copyright: Funchal Municipality The Video Games Creative Industry is currently the main economic driver worldwide, surpassing media such as cinema, music sales and the five main football leagues worldwide.Portugal has a sector in this area with excellent human resources and good skills, which extend to an entire associated creative industry in the country. However, it is quite fragmented and has a low capacity for talent retention.Covering the country from Évora to Lisbon, Madeira and the Azores, the eGames Lab brings together several companies, private and public entities, national and international R&D centres, in order to create a cluster specialised in the development of video games and complementary services. With R&D activities ranging from TRL3-4 to TRL 5-7, capacity building and training activities, as well as marketing and internationalisation, the eGames Lab will be an organisation open to the entire Portuguese creative industry community, generating PPS with high global market value.Additional links:https://www.funchal.pt...
