Copyright: Freepic The objectives of the investment are to promote longer-term collaboration between research organisations, large enterprises and SMEs in the areas of the green and digital transitions and to ensure the stability and predictability of RDI support instruments.The investment consists in the co-financing of collaborative projects between research organisations and business at all levels of technological development. It was implemented through two calls for project proposals to select consortia of research organisations and business.On 18 February 2022 the Public agency encouraging entrepreneurship and investment (SPIRIT) published a call to fund RDI projects on circular economy research and innovation. Through two rounds of evaluation and selection (May 2022 and April 2023), SPIRIT has selected among 333 applications 130 projects for co-funding. Recovery and Resilience Facility support per project was capped at EUR 300,000. Total Recovery and Resilience Facility amounts to EU 36.6 million.The lists of co-funded projects are available here: https://www.spiritslovenia.si/...https://www.spiritslovenia.si/...On 31 March 2023 the Slovenian Research Agency (ARRS) published a call to fund RDI projects carried out by consortia of at least three public research institutions and four companies. ARRS received 19 project applications and approved for co-funding four of them; two with a focus on focus on low carbon economy, resilience and adaptation to climate change and two in the field of digitalisation and digital transformation.
