European Consumer Summit 2026: Stronger consumers in changing markets

The 2026 European Consumer Summit will take place on 19 November in Dublin and will bring together stakeholders from all EU Member States and other countries, including policymakers, national consumer enforcement authorities, academia, businesses and representatives of civil society, such as consumer and youth organisations.

Discussions at this year’s Consumer Summit will focus on artificial intelligence, consumers’ contribution to a competitive and circular economy, consumer autonomy in the digital world, e-commerce from third countries, financial consumer protection and fraud prevention.

Michael McGrath, European Commissioner for Democracy, Justice, the Rule of Law and Consumer Protection, as well as other high-level speakers, will take part in this annual high-level consumer policy event.
