Annual EU Budget Conference 2025 - From local action to global influence: the next long-term Union budget

Save the date for 20 and 21 May 2025 and stay tuned to our newsletter to book your spot when registrations open!

The next long-term budget will power the Union shared vision for the future in a context of growing geopolitical, economic and societal challenges.

The Annual EU Budget Conference will bring together a wide array of stakeholders to rethink a future budget with the Union policy priorities at the centre by making it more focused, simpler and impactful.

European Commissioner for Budget, Anti-Fraud and Public Administration, Piotr Serafin, together with high-level speakers, will lead an open debate on:

  • How can the EU budget best support economic growth and resilience across our territories?
  • How to make the EU budget the engine for investment and competitiveness?
  • How should a strategic external action funding should be designed?
  • How would a modern EU financial architecture, with new revenue sources and involving private sector financing look like?
  • How can the EU budget be designed to deliver EU value added and results more effectively?

Stay tuned for the opening of registrations, be part of the discussions!
