Austria 2024 RRF Annual event

• The 2024 Annual event on Austria’s recovery and resilience plan took place on 27 and 28 May 2024.
• Participants came from the European Commission, Government of Austria, including Johannes Hahn, Commissioner for Budget and Administration, Karoline Edtstadler, Federal Minster for the EU and Constitution, Magnus Brunner, Federal Minister for Finance, and Johannes Rauch, Federal Minister for Health. Additionally, various stakeholders, including project beneficiaries, ministry staff working on the recovery and resilience plan, social partners, civil society, and academia were present.
• The discussions around two panels and two project visits focused on the contribution of the recovery and resilience plan to Austria’s competitiveness, in particular through improving connectivity and investing in strategic innovation on the example of the hydrogen-value chain in Austria.
