The aim of this Translating Europe Workshop is to present the current state of legal translation and to provide participants with an opportunity to try their hand on authentic material, whether they choose to work as freelancers or as in-house translators. It includes descriptions of the working environment, discussions on the skillset needed and down-to-earth tasks similar to those participants would face in their professional lives.
It is mainly addressed to language/translation students, law students and young translation/legal professionals, but anyone with an interest in legal translation is welcome.
