CloseThis event has ended. Have you ever met people who have excellent degrees and overall background and yet, you would never work with them? Or excellent translators not easy to deal with? Or people with an okayish background who are a pleasure to work with? With input from both the international as well as the more “local”, Greek perspective, and space for discussion, the workshop reaches out to anyone interested in translation and intercultural communication. It aims at bringing up the following questions: What do we mean by ‘soft skills’? Why are they important? How may I develop and highlight them as a student/young graduate/young professional/project manager/communication professional/manager of a small or medium-size translation company or as an LSP? This workshop is organised in cooperation with the School of English, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. translation Thursday 11 April 2024, 10:00 - 17:00 (EEST)Thessaloniki, Greece Practical information WhenThursday 11 April 2024, 10:00 - 17:00 (EEST)WhereUniversity Amphitheatre II.
