Quality Assurance and Project Management in Translation

Project management is essential for quality assurance - and quality assurance, in its turn, is essential for building trust in any area or profession, including in translation. The importance of these two elements of the translation process isn’t recognised enough in Romania, both within the industry and outside it. This TEW aims at promoting project management and quality assurance in translation, both for translation practitioners and for the users of translation services. At the same time, it aims at showing the importance of professional translation and of professional translators, especially nowadays, when machine translation is becoming widespread.

The registration deadline for in-person attendance is 19 June, and there is no deadline for online attendance.

The event will be in Romanian, and English interpretation available online.
