What is Consumer PRO+ about?
Consumer PRO+ is about boosting professionals in consumer protection. More precisely, it is a project that aims to build the capacity of consumer organisations and professionals active in consumer policy across Europe, helping them in their day-to-day work to better protect and inform consumers.
Consumer PRO+ is an initiative of the European Commission (DG Justice and Consumers), running for three years as of March 2026. The project is implemented by BEUC – The European Consumer Organisation, an umbrella organisation which has extensive experience in strengthening the capacity of the consumer movement across Europe.
The project is proposing a broad training catalogue covering a wide range of topics of interest for consumer professionals. Through the expression of interest, respondents can help shape the project by identifying their areas of interest and benefit from free training opportunities developed in response to their needs.
How is Consumer PRO+ working?
Based on an expression of interest, different training opportunities will be developed for the consumer professionals including e-learning courses, workshops, and practical learning materials. The project will also support knowledge sharing and networking among consumer policy professionals across participating countries.
