Youth centre - Varna

With over EUR 27.5 million, the Recovery and Resilience Facility supports the establishment of 18 youth centres in Bulgaria.

The project "Establishment and functioning of the Black Sea Youth Center", funded with BGN 4.3 million from the RRP, will support the extablishment of a Youth Center in Varna, which will provide diverse and quality activities and services to at least 1,200 young people. The centre will provide free, open and safe spaces and opportunities for personal development.

Target groups which will benefit from the activities of the centre include students and youth between the ages of 13 and 29; students at risk of dropping out or dropped out of the education system; NEETs; youth from other vulnerable groups; employees of the centers – youth workers, educational mediators, etc.

At least 20% of the participants in the activities will be representatives of vulnerable groups.

The project is expected to be completed by 30 June 2026.
