With over EUR 27.5 million, the Recovery and Resilience Facility supports the establishment of 18 youth centres in Bulgaria.The project "Targovishte Youth Center - a place to engage, connect and empower young people from Targovishte municipality" is funded with BGN 3.8 million from the RRP.The municipality of Targovishte has the ambition to build, equip and support the work of the first multifunctional Youth Center in the Targovishte district, which will cover all aspects of modern youth participation, which are incorporated in the Quality Mark of the Council of Europe for youth centers. The center will provide modern accommodation conditions (minimum 15 beds) and logistical and technological possibilities for holding events of different scales (including a hall with a capacity of over 100 participants), adapted for young people with special needs. The activity of the MC will be led by a team of youth workers, educational mediators, psychologist, pedagogue. It will be based on the connection between education and professional realization among young people in the conditions of digital transformation, taking into account the ever-increasing need for their active engagement, connection and empowerment in local political, educational, socio-economic and cultural-entertainment processes.
