With over EUR 27.5 million, the Recovery and Resilience Facility supports the establishment of 18 youth centres in Bulgaria.

The project "Construction of a  youth center - Svishtov" is funded with BGN 1.8 million from the RRP.

The centre will provice a wide range of training modules for young people between 13-29 years old,  based on modern training programs supporting the development of knowledge, skills and attitudes.

The implementation of the project will create the necessary prerequisites for the development of quality youth activities and policies at the local, national and international level, and will enhance the efforts of the municipality of Svishtov to support and develop youth activities in the city.

The centre will be equipped with halls and offices for conducting the activities and will act as an intermediary between local businesses and young people; will provide conditions for personal development; increase of professional and digital competences, according to the needs of the labour market and will be oriented towards vulnerable groups, representatives of ethnic minorities, at risk and/or dropped out of the education system, as well as those who, for one reason or another, fail to adapt successfully to the communities in which they live.

The center will also provide mediation services between young people and public authorities and assist schools and regional education departments in working with students who have dropped out or are at risk of dropping out of the education system.

The center will provide modern and efficient infrastructure, meeting the high standards of youth work and providing quality, diverse and complex services to support the development of the youth sector.
