Water metering installedin the City of Zagreb

The Recovery and Resilience facility provided EUR 8.3 million for the purchase and installation metering devices at water abstraction sites for measuring water quantities.

The call for financing this investment was launched on 9 December 2024.

Croatia purchased and installed a total of 539 metering devices across the country.This investment enables improved recording, collection, processing, and control of data on water abstraction volumes, ensuring accurate tracking of water flow.

This significantly improves availability and reliability of data concerning water losses in the water supply systems, thus contributing to the rational use of water.
