Water expertise growth and export programme / Suodin-sieppari - Finnish water innovations together

With €149 280, the Recovery and Resilience Facility supports the project which combines two Finnish water innovations - the Sofi filter and Weeefiner's 4D-trap - to create a new solution.

The solution will serve the European industry in its efforts to recycle water more efficiently, recover valuable substances and minimise emissions of harmful substances.

The new water treatment solution will be based on efficient removal of residual solids from process water streams followed by the recovery of valuable or harmful substances. The solution will be piloted in one/two European industrial sites to demonstrate the technology and to develop export business support export business.

The project is expected to be completed by October 2024.
