With € 124 462, the Recovery and Resilience Facility supports the project which will create and pilot a transferable and replicable approach to the circular economy of process water in food processing companies that can be improved regionally both in Finland and export markets. The aim is to make the water that already exists in the food system for as long as possible, without polluting water treatment plants. From the Finns have the know-how and solutions to implement a water-wise food system, as long as the needs and solutions are matched as well and efficiently as possible. This by strengthening the water consortium model and creating a water management system for food companies. The project will be completed by March 2025.
