Wastewater network investmentin the wider Zadar City area of Sinjoretovo

The objective of this RRP investment is to achieve the renovation and rehabilitation of 850km of public sewerage networks; and the construction and putting into operation of 31 wastewater treatment plants. This is particularly important in coastal areas, around Zadar. 

In some areas, wastewater is discharged untreated polluting the sea, endangering human health, and conducive to a reduced biodiverse ecosystem. 

Construction of a public wastewater system, and a wastewater treatment plant will prevent further pollution, and deterioration of sea water quality. It ensures access to appropriate wastewater treatment for an additional 220,000 people.
