Ventilation at Dragotin Kette Elementary School - Sustainable renovation of buildings

The aim of the project was to implement central ventilation with recovery at Dragotin Kette Elementary School in Novo mesto.

The objectives were to ensure improved working conditions and reliability of the system, comprehensive energy renovation, reduction of heat losses, reduction of primary energy consumption, lower energy use costs, improvement of the security of the energy system and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

Within the project a ventilation system covering 2,663 m² of floor area was installed.

The investment reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 17,510 kg CO₂/year.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility provided funding of EUR 687,000, while the total value of the investment was EUR 838,000. The project started in April 2023 and was finalised in October 2024.
