Using the National Digital Identity Platforms SPID CIE

Digital services and citizen experience (Mission 1 – Component 1, Investment 1.4)
Adoption scale up of the National Digital Identity platforms (SPID, CIE) and the national registry (ANPR) (Sub-investment 1.4.4).

Italy's Recovery and Resilience Plan provides this investment to develop an integrated and harmonized offering of state-of-theart citizen-oriented digital services, ensure their wide-spread adoption thereof across both central and local administrations and enhance users’ experience.
Italy’s Recovery and Resilience plan aims to foster the adoption of National Digital Identity platforms (Sistema Pubblico di Identità Digitale, SPID and Carta d’Identità Elettronica, CIE) and of the national registry (Anagrafe nazionale della popolazione residente, ANPR).

The investment is financed by Italy’s Recovery and Resilience plan by EUR 561 million.

As part of this investment, the project aims to adopt the CIE for access to online services. This project is financed by the Recovery and Resilience Facility with EUR 14.000,00.
