Upgrading Infrastructure - Facilities of Primary Health Care/Koropi Health Center

The project involves the Renovation of Primary Healthcare Infrastructure, specifically focusing on the upgrading of building facilities and installations at 156 Health Centers and various Primary Healthcare service points across Greece. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of healthcare services through comprehensive infrastructure improvements.

The objective of the interventions is to achieve energy and operational upgrades of the buildings, including improvements to thermal insulation, electromechanical equipment and networks, as well as the overall condition of the facilities.

Interventions vary by healthcare facility and generally include:

• Installation of external thermal insulation systems,
• Replacement of doors and windows, reconstruction and insulation of roofs and terraces,
• Partial or complete replacement of electromechanical equipment, as required,
• Reconstruction of electromechanical networks,
• Installation of building energy management systems,
• Interior layout modifications, where necessary,
• Replacement of equipment and implementation of solutions to facilitate access for individuals with reduced mobility,
• Restoration of damages and upgrades to the surrounding outdoor areas.

The total RRF contribution amounts to € 199 million.

As part of this project, energy efficiency upgrades and renovation works have been completed at the Health Center of Koropi, Region of Attica.
