The objective of the investment is to address inefficiencies of the justice system caused by inadequate court buildings, both in terms of quantity and quality.
With an amount of EUR 2.5 million, the Recovery and Resilience Facility supports the construction of an extension to the Famagusta District Court building.
The investment relates to the construction of five (5) additional court rooms in order to try civil cases in addition to criminal cases.
The construction of the extension of the Famagusta District Court was completed on 25/2/2022.
