Upgrade of underground cables connecting islands to the mainland grid completed

This overall investment involved a significant upgrade to the electrical infrastructure serving the Adriatic islands.

Construction of 110 kV submarine cables implied the replacement of six routes of existing 110 kV submarine three-core cables with paper-oil insulation under pressure with three-core cables with environmentally friendly XLPE insulation.
